“The journey is sometimes lonely and hard. Being invited into your life as a fellow-traveler to explore self-discovery, healing, purpose and passion is an honor.”
B renda graduated Magna cum Laude from West Texas A&M University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and received her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2007. She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Arkansas.
Her cross-cultural work with children and families has, for the past seventeen years, taken her across all socio-economic levels throughout the United States and Brenda understands the importance of strong, healthy relationships as an anchor in an often tumultuous world. Warm and out-going, her engaging nature creates a comfortable therapeutic environment and her personal life experiences with family addiction, recovery, grief, loss and trauma enable her to empathically walk with clients through the healing process. Brenda specializes in treating people with anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns.
Residents of Northwest Arkansas for the past fourteen years, Brenda and her husband, Mark, are empty-nesters having successfully launched their three children into adulthood. Brenda enjoys traveling, sailing, reading, DIY home projects and the occasional tandem sky-dive.
