Jonna graduated Magna cum laude from Arkansas Tech University in 2007 and graduated Summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock receiving her Master’s degree in Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional in the state of Arkansas. Jonna has worked with Children, Adolescents, Families and Adults. She has worked with trauma, anxiety, depression,  marital problems, stress, substance abuse issues as well as many other mental health disorders. Jonna is Certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has numerous hours of training in CBT, DBT, Client Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Therapies and many more.

Jonna’s compassion is noticeable within minutes of meeting her. She comes with a non- judgmental and open mind. She meets her clients right where they are in life’s journey. Jonna listens to the clients and works with what they want to obtain from the counseling experience. Jonna has successfully overcome her own trauma and has a unique understanding of how it can affect our lives. Jonna is married with three children. The last two are finishing up college. In her free times she likes to get out in nature and just enjoy her family.
