Melissa graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1994 and completed a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan in 1995. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Arkansas. She has an extensive history of working with adults from diverse backgrounds who struggle with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, suicidal thoughts, stress, life transitions, marriage, and other relationships.
Melissa specializes in women’s issues with a focus on treating women who are experiencing or recovering from abusive relationships. Drawing from her own experience with dating violence as a young adult, she is passionate about helping women reclaim their power and self-worth.
Melissa is a Little Rock native who has called NWA home for the past seven years, and there’s no place else she’d rather be! She is a proud mother of two teenagers, and she enjoys reading, dancing, perusing flea markets.
