Catherine grew up in Austin, Texas. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Arkansas, she returned to Texas. Recently finding herself returning to the natural state to seek a Master’s of Science in Counseling Education, with an emphasis on Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Arkansas.

Cat is completing her Practicum at Pinnacle Counseling to build knowledge and gain insight into the Clinical Mental Health field while completing her academic journey. Cat will receive on-site clinical supervision with Travis Webb, LPC and off-site supervision through the University of Arkansas.

Cat believes interpersonal connection, empathetic understanding, and mutual trust are key components to the therapeutic process. The therapeutic relationship is the key to effective counseling. Cat is embracing the beauty of that process with clients while utilizing person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy to empower clients towards living valued-filled lives. meeting clients where they are in their life’s journey is Cat’s method towards promoting positive, sustainable growth with a personalized perspective. Currently, Cat has a desire to continue fostering her skill set with individuals suffering from Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, and Feeding/Eating Issues.

Whenever she is able to find some free time Cat enjoy reading, exploring local hiking trails, and trying new restaurants.
