Brenden was born in Pensacola FL and was raised in Dallas Tx. After visiting his grandmother for years in Eureka Springs, he decided to attend the University of Arkansas, where they received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a masters in mental health counseling. He is a currently licensed professional counselor for the state of Arkansas.
Brenden uses a client-centered and cognitive-behavioral approach by working on both, current life issues and helping establish a new way of thinking for his clients. Brenden likes to maintain a relaxed, calm environment for his clients and strives to be warm and open to all who come in. He is a strong advocate for a well-balanced, positive client-therapist relationship, and likes to keep an open, safe environment to communicate in.
Brenden has a history of working with both adults and children. He has worked with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, PTSD, trauma, and abuse. He has received continued education in TFCBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Crisis Management and Tele-Health Therapy.
When not working, Brenden can be found spending time with his friends and family, taking care of
his cat, Luka, listening to podcasts, gaming, and generally just relaxing.
