Elise is a Licensed Certified Social Worker in Arkansas, originating from Oklahoma. She moved to Arkansas to pursue both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work at the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville, graduating summa cum laude.

Elise is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), trained in EMDR, sandtray therapy, and is currently a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) in training. Her professional journey began at a college counseling center, supporting young adults navigate the challenges of gaining independence and forming their personal identities. Elise expanded her work at a child advocacy center, providing therapy to both children and adult survivors of abuse, grief, and violence – working with children as young as two.

A firm believer in the power of personal strengths, Elise integrates a strengths-based approach into her therapy, helping clients move forward with resilience. She employs creative, hands-on methods such as art, sandtray, and play therapy—approaches she tailors for both children and adults.

When she’s not working, Elise enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs or unwinding with a cup of coffee and a good book.
